One person’s perfect day on the water may be too hot or too cold for the next person. As a boat rental company, last-minute cancellations can be very costly. We ask that you carefully read and understand the following policies before you take out a boat for rent. These policies were made to help ensure your safety and to help make your rental experiences fun and easy. We hope you enjoy your day on beautiful Lake Wissota!
All boats are paid in full upon reservation. Please check with your group and have your dates confirmed prior to booking your reservation to avoid unnecessary charges.
Severe Weather?
Cancellations made by WWR due to severe weather will have 30 days to rebook within the current season and use your rental. If the weather event happens October 1st or later, you may carry over the reservation until spring of the following year. These must be booked and used by June 15 of the year following the original rental date.
The boat will be in the water, uncovered, gassed up and ready for you to go boating!
Logistics:
VRBO dock drop-offs are available for multi-day pontoons rental.

No. The DNR/Water Patrol simply count heads. Infants and small children also count. You will be ticketed if you violate the law. Please visit the DNR Boater's Handbook for information about state regulations, laws & licensing.
If you have boated on Lake Wissota before, you know that the train bridge between "big" and "little" Lake Wissota is difficult to get under. Most ski, wake and fishing boats will fit under the bridge. However, our pontoons do not fit under the bridge. Boaters have access to "big" Lake Wissota, Moon Bay, and the upper Lake Wissota/ Chippewa River as seen on the maps.
If you intend to dock the pontoon at your VRBO and are unsure which body of water you will be on, please contact us for clarifications.
We love pets, just not in our boats. Pets are not allowed in any of our watercraft. Thank you for your cooperation.
Our Lowe pontoon has a radio and the Manitou has a bluetooth stereo. Renters will need to bring their own speaker on the Princecraft pontoon or use our small portable speaker. Please let us know if you would like it so it can be charged!
